Writing

Want some feedback on an outline or draft of your paper? Have a question about how to use a comma or how to narrow your research question? Whether you're working on a literature review or a lab report, we’re here to help! Submit a paper or a question for feedback from one of our professional tutors through the eWriting Lab or the eQuestions tool.

In the eWriting Lab, you can submit an assignment, ask for specific feedback, and receive a response from a professional tutor. You can use the eQuestions Lab to submit a short, specific question about essay-writing skills, grammar or mechanics, or citation. Either way, we'll get back to you shortly, usually in 24 to 48 hours! (Service times may increase at peak times of the term.) To get started, watch the videos to the right.

Mathematics

Need some help with multiplying fractions? solving trigonometric equations? figuring out derivatives and integrals? Whether you’re working on basic math or calculus, we're happy to give you a hand. eTutor Alberta currently offers help in four areas of math: foundational math (trades math and academic upgrading), calculus, statistics, and physics. To get help in any of these areas, you can use our eChat and eQuestions tools.

In eChat, you can sign into an online classroom, where a professional tutor can help you work through a problem in real time. You can interact with the tutor using the virtual whiteboard, text chat, audio, video, or screen share—whatever works for you! The eQuestions tool allows you to submit a short, specific question about a mathematical concept or a problem you are working on. Our first available tutor will respond to your question, usually in 24-48 hours! (Service times may increase at peak times of the term.) To get started, watch the videos to the right.

Due to budgetary restrictions, students will not be able to access eTutor Alberta's math tutoring services in Winter or Spring 2017. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Students can continue to submit eWriting assignments and eQuestions for writing.
