I tried to set up an account, but I got an error saying that my email address is already in use. What do I do?

This error message could occur for two reasons:

  1. You have already created an account with this email address. Instead of creating a new account, use your existing account. If you have forgotten your password, you can gain access to your account by clicking on the "Forget your password?" link on the log-in page. Just type in your email address, and we'll send you a temporary password that you can use to access your account and reset your password.
  2. You have used the pound or hash symbol (#) in your password. Please select a different password.
